The GSP Hub, with the support of the Export Marketing Bureau, the European Union (EU) Delegation to the Philippines and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, is organizing a workshop entitled: GSP+ Business Engagement Workshop scheduled on 26 January 2022 at 2:00 PM.   

The workshop will bring together EU Institutional Stakeholders: EU- and Philippine-based companies, government officials, business chambers, and industry & trade promotion associations to share success stories and experiences in exporting to EU using GSP+. The workshop aims to:  

• Get an understanding of the Philippines-EU trade relations and tangible examples of the diverse benefits of GSP+ for established and less-developed sectors;  

• Get an understanding of challenges exporters face when exporting to the EU market as well as causes for utilization gaps;  

• Discuss and provide input on up-and-coming sectors, their export potential on the EU market, as well as opportunities for further diversification at the sectoral level; and  

• Understand the GSP as a comprehensive approach to sustainable development which also considers and promotes sustainability and social aspects such as human and labor rights.
