angle-left ADVISORY: ARISE Plus Philippines – Invitation for MSMEs to Participate in the Export Management Coaching Initiative (EMCI)

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) is inviting Philippine micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to take part in the Export Management Coaching Initiative (EMCI) under the ARISE Plus Philippines project.

The EMCI aims to assist, free of charge, companies, especially women-led businesses, in resolving day-to-day issues related to export management. In line with this, the EMCI will conduct practical on-the-job coaching to selected Philippine MSMEs to assist them in addressing day-to-day issues related to export and import procedure management.

Experts in import, export, freight forwarding, and logistics will facilitate the coaching initiative using a customized coaching manual.

This coaching initiative was developed as part of the ARISE Plus Philippines project, a 4-year plan by the European Union (EU) to help boost the Philippines' trade performance and competitiveness. The project intends to support country-specific solutions to complement the EU's ARISE Plus Regional Programme and the overarching regional integration process of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
