The Bureau of Customs has notified the European Union that it will extend the transition period for the full implementation of the EU REX Systemuntil 31 December 2020. Philippine exporters not yet registered with the System are enjoined to do so as soon as possible. In the meantime, PH companies who are not yet registered in the REX database are provided an extension to use Form A to claim for EU GSP+ preferential tariffs until 31 December 2020.
