The Sultanate of Oman issued Ministerial Decision no. 79/2020 that has imposed a temporary import ban of poultry meat and related products from the Philippines since 07 April 2020 until further notice. This may be due to the recent isolated H5N6 Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) outbreak in an identified area in the Philippines.
